I bet everyone has their own experience event....
When I was studied in Institut Profesional Baitulmal, I was join this event trip that organised by classmate to the old folks home. Which located in Kg Sg Sekamat, Kajang. The trip was comprised of twenty members. We went there by bus from college at ten in the morning and arrived at the old folks home at eleven morning.
When we arrived at the old folks home, all the senior citizens came out to welcome us. They welcomed us with opened arms and they looked so happy. All of us were surprised with their respond and we gave everyone hamper that we brought for them.
First, we were divided into two groups, one group consist of ten person. The first group was responsible to cleaned up the old folks home which is they swept the garden and cleaned up the room. Then, the second group was cooked for lunch for the old folks and also cleaned up the hall and kitchen. We shared out the work and helped each other in order to complete our job.
Then we had lunch with the old folks, the food were so delicious. After lunch we had some performances to entertain the senior citizens and we sang together. Also another activity such as sharing stories and playing a game. They were so happy and cheerfully. They really enjoyed the showed that performed by us.
At the evening it was a time to leave, we all said goodbye to the old folks. Before leaving we promised them to visit again, they seemed so sad that we were going to back. It was very memorable event experience in my life.
